The German city of Dresden will be hosting the Design, Automation and Test in Europe Conference (DATE), from March 8 to 12, 2010.

This breaks with a tradition that saw the conference alternate between Munich and Nice for several years.

The 13th DATE conference and exhibition gathers designers and design automation users, researchers and vendors, as well as specialists in the hardware and software design, test and manufacturing of electronic circuits and systems. It puts a strong emphasis on ICs/SoCs, reconfigurable hardware and embedded systems, including embedded software.

Of course, the toughest part is the waiting. Hence, EDA DesignLine has compiled a list of product developments and solutions that international EDA firms will be presenting.

. Docea Power will preview ACEplorer 2.0, the newest version of the first ESL power analysis software for exploring power and thermal behavior at the architectural level.

. Forte will exhibit its Cynthesizer SystemC high-level synthesis software.

. Nangate will demonstrate MegaLibrary and Design Optimizer.

. OneSpin will demonstrate the RootCauseAnalyzer and the 360 MV solution.

. Real Intent will exhibit its verification solutions, including the latest Releases Meridian CDC Version 3.0 for precise and comprehensive Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) verification.

. Tanner EDA and IC Mask Design will preview their joint solution aimed at accelerating analog layout design.

Come back often!

This list will be updated on a daily basis.
