Embedded Systems Conference wrapup

For the EDN Editorial staff, the Silicon Valley Embedded Systems Conference events kicked off in a big way with the annual EDN Innovation Awards
on Monday night. Congratulations again to all the winners, and to the
finalists and all who made this such a great event.
In previous posts at my EDN.com site, I covered ESC announcements from Cadence (Cadence adds virtual models and FPGA prototyping to System Development Suite), and Mentor Graphics (Mentor Graphics adds capabilities to GNU toolchain in Embedded Sourcery CodeBench).
I also visited with a number of other companies at ESC; including -
