My chum Tom just emailed me with a link to an interesting piece on BuzzFeed.com. The posting in question is called 19 People Who Are Having a Worse Day Than You.
I know we shouldn’t laugh at other people's misfortunes, but what can I say? The reason the "man slipping on a banana" was used so often in the old black-and-white films is that … it's funny.
My favorite is #5 ("Discovering you have superpowers at the worst possible moment"), although #11 ("Anyone who is best friends with a juggler") has a certain je ne sais quoi.
But wait, #17 ("Anyone trying to be Captain America") is a hoot. In fact they are all pretty amazing and funny, except for #19 which makes me sad.
Click Here to bounce over and see these videos and then tell me which one(s) you like best.
If you found this article to be interest, visit Microcontroller / MCU Designline where – in addition to my Max's Cool Beans blogs on all sorts of "stuff" – you will find the latest and greatest design, technology, product, and news articles with regard to all aspects of designing and using microcontrollers.
Also, you can obtain a highlights update delivered directly to your inbox by signing up for my weekly newsletter – just Click Here to request this newsletter using the Manage Newsletters tab (if you aren't already a member you'll be asked to register, but it's free and painless so don't let that stop you [grin]).
Last but certainly not least, make sure you check out all of the discussions and other information resources at All Programmable Planet. For example, in addition to blogs by yours truly, microcontroller expert Duane Benson is learning how to use FPGAs to augment (sometimes replace) the MCUs in his robot (and other) projects.

I saw the one with the girl falling down the hole in the floor before, along with a write-up that said it was in a pub (bar) and that she died. Anyone have any more info?
Most of these WOULD ruin your day to some extent...

I'm sorry to hear about the girl dying -- that particular video really did make my eyes water -- some of the others aren't quite so extreme (although I prefer that they don;t happen to me)
