Talking Teardown with Charbax

Last week at ARM Techcon 2010, my editorial colleague, Patrick Mannion and I conducted the "Teardown Smackdown," in which we compared the designs and componentry of the Archos 7 and the Dell Streak, two tablet PCs.
We'll post the video of that session and our write-ups soon (here's a link to Patrick's preview), but we took Nicolas Charbonnier, aka Charbax, aside to talk about Archos. He's a video-logger with a keen interest in Archos designs. And we chatted with him about the design trade-offs he sees between the larger Archos tablet designs and others (such as the Streak and the iPad) and about the design philosophy behind the Archos line itself.
