Because I do a lot of board design, my favorite one is from 9/8/2007.

I love cartoons like Calvin and Hobbs, and Peanuts, and… well, pretty much all of them really. When I was a young kid around 10 years old in England, I used to hang out with my cousin Gillian who lived up the road.
Gillian and I each used to get comics every week and – after reading them – we’d save them in a box. Every now and again our parents would ship these comics to our cousins in Canada. Similarly, their parents would occasionally ship us a box of Canadian / American comics. It was a “party day” when those comics arrived, let me tell you.
Of course, as an engineer I love the Dilbert comic strip along with the associated animations. Who amongst us could forget The Knack, for example (I always think of my long-suffering mom when I see this).
Usually when I see a Dilbert strip it brings a grin to my face, but someone just sent me a link to one that made me laugh out loud. I can’t post the strip here for copyright reasons, but you can Click Here to visit it over at the official Dilbert website at www.dilbert.com.
I don’t know why, but this one just ticked my funny bone. How about you – do you have a favorite Dilbert Cartoon (or any other cartoon, now I come to think about it)?

Some of my favorite Dilberts include the character Zimbu the monkey. Take a look at the few pages of cartoons here:

I love cartoons too. I like to start my day by first reading cartoons - Peanuts and Dilbert in specific.
Back in India, we use to read R K Laxman in Time of India, India's Best Carttoninst.

My favorite Dilbert is the one where the pointy-haired is talking to Dilbert about some self-perceived management brilliance that's clearly lunacy.
He says to Dilbert, "Do you think I should write a book?"
To which Dilbert replies, "You should trying reading one first."
Adams deserves the National Medal of Freedom some day.

One of my favorite Dilbert's was back in the dot-com era, when Dilbert's colleague Wally grew a pony tail and started an internet company, and convinced some VC to give him a huge pile of money.
Dilbert asked Wally, "What do you plan to create in your new company, besides some accounting irregularities?"
Wally replied, "That's all I have time for."

What I love about Dilbert is the way it so closely parallels the way my employer works. And probably the way that most employers work. At least once every couple of months you can find one that you can pin on your noticeboard with the caption "Isn't this just SOOO (Insert name of your employer here)??

Hello Max,
I do have quite a few comic collections in books, but I guess I'm mostly a Dilbert fan. Since I have his daily calendar on my desk, and subscribe to his daily comic via e-mail. And yes, Mr. Adams certaily deserves a major award for keeping lots of us sane all these years. You just have to laugh sometimes.
