Quick – Vote now!

It’s time to stand up and be counted – are we going to let some yahoo from “e-Book Reader” or “Netbook News” beat one of our very own at EE Times? No we are not!

So here’s the deal… Smart mobile devices have redefined how we access and use information, and they're changing how we interact with the world around us. Our front-line industry informants – journalists, analysts, and bloggers alike – relentlessly keep up with the fast pace of the smart device industry and offer news, reviews, and points of view so the rest of us don’t miss a beat.

The folks from Freescale are holding a vote to see who should be declared an Outstanding Pundit for 2012.

One of the contestants is our very own Sylvie Barak from EE Times:

So I ask you – who is the more worthy of this honor? Some Wet Noodle from Netbook News? Some Wally from Wired? Some Zilch from ZDnet? Perhaps even someone called “Nate the Great”? (Yes, this really is one of the contenders.) Well, I am afraid that “Max the Magnificent” thinks not!

No! Sylvie is the obvious choice ... but the race is on, we are approaching the final fence, and we need your help. All you have to do is Click Here to visit the Smart Mobile Device Pundit 2012 page, click the Vote tab, and then click on Sylvie’s Entry.

Don’t just do this for me…. Oh, well, OK, you can just do it for me if you want (I'll owe you one). Also, don’t be shy to pass the word around to your family and friends… let’s see what we can do in this final period of voting, which ends on 8 Feb 2012.

I saw that you could vote more than once, you can do so daily, and I headed back to see if Chicago-style really works ...

Too late ...

Sylvie made the Top Five! Felicitations!

And thanks for your campaigning, Max! :)
