Max's Cool Beans
Seriously?

My chum David Ashton in Australia just sent me an email whose subject line read "Seriously?"
My knee-jerk reaction was "Oh dear, what have I said or done that has raised David's ire?" Happily, once I actually (if warily) opened David's message, I found a bunch of humorous images, the best of which I wanted to share with you here as follows:

I'm hard-pushed to pick a favorite, although I do really like the "Fish and Chips" one -- and also the one with the "Bills" post box way in the air -- along with the one telling us not to use the microwave and toaster oven at the same time. How about you? Which one tickles your fancy the most?

The "fish and chips" sign is typical British humour. It couldn't be anywhere else. David Ashton is fortunate if he has enough free time to sift through the internet and find these things - there's just too much of it. You can find lots more on the Facebook group "Trust me - I'm an engineer"

NO, I don't sift through the internet - people send me this stuff. Most of it gets a quick read and is then deleted. Some of the better ones I will send on to guys like Max who I think might appreciate them - but this is a VERY small proportion - there is - as you say - LOTS of rubbish around....

"Trust me - I'm an engineer"
If I had a coconut for every time I've heard that one.
As you say, there's a ton of stuff like this around -- it's not worth going looking for, but when it drops into your lap via an email (or, as far as you are concerned, via a blog like this one), it can be worth taking a few minutes break to have a bit of a laugh.
Re David having enough free time to sift through stuff ... you have to be joking -- he works night and day -- he's always slogging away on stuff -- all he did was forward me an email that came his way...

Fish and Chips
"Stop"
Free Chicken Strips
Somewhat like the Chicken Strips, I have seen one called "Tearable Jokes" with little puns printed on tear off strips.
