It’s that special time of year again—the announcements of the Nobel Prize winners, a time when science makes headlines. To celebrate the work of visionaries, the American Institute of Physics is allowing free online access to all of their journals and conference proceedings for the month of October. That’s right, free. Want to read some of the seminal papers in your field of work? Want to stay up to date on the latest in phase-change memory or nano-enabled memory? With a click of the mouse, it’s yours.
The program allows all users free online access to any AIP publication back to 1999, or as far back as it goes. That means you can pull up Applied Physics Letters papers and have a sort of all-you-can-read buffet. Considering that fees for nonsubscribers normally run $20 or $30 for single use, that’s quite a bargain. Find out more at their website, and enjoy!
