Cypress grabs Ramtron, at last
It took more than a few tries, but Cypress Semiconductor Corp. finally succeeded in its acquisition of Ramtron International Corp. The deal gives Cypress a foothold in the developing FRAM market, along with some blue ribbon licensees. The technology has been touted as the next great thing in memory, but is still maturing.
