Why attend the Embedded Market annual survey webinar—or can you afford to dismiss the perception of 1,700 engineers?

The 17th annual survey of embedded designers will be unveiled on Friday at a Webinar. Extremely useful in finding trends in software/hardware usage, the survey looks at languages, productivity, and the challenges of design teams—the way they estimate their importance—for example, the importance of adding skills.
Based on input from more than 1,700 respondents from across the embedded industry, not only will you hear what UBM considers to be important trends, you’ll be able to ask questions online.
What is really important is that you try to measure year-to-year how these trends are impacting your own business or job. Do you agree with the results? Why or why not? This represents an important opportunity for both young and established companies to analyze, evaluate and plan an informed course of action.
Many times I’ve heard said of such studies that one question or another is incorrect in its assumptions. My experience is that perception is reality. That might shed yet another bit of light on the results you’ll hear on Friday.
