LONDON — Valor Computerized Systems Ltd., an Israeli EDA company which sells software to support systems and PCB design and to manage manufacturing flows, has appointed Dante Dominguez as general manager of Latin America and created a dedicated business unit to exploit growth in Central and South America.

Valor (Yavne, Israel) did not say where Dominguez or the business unit would be based.

Dominguez is responsible for driving Valor’s growth in Latin America, building and maintaining relationships with its customers across the region.

Valor said that the Central and South American markets are showing significant signs of revival and proving to be effective competitors to offshore markets.

Previous steps taken by Valor, such as the addition of local engineering resources, have already contributed to the company’s expansion in the region, leading for the demand for a dedicated business unit, the company said.
