Flash startup gains funding

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Battery Ventures and Pitango Venture Capital have invested $17 million in a Series A round of funding in a new flash startup called Anobit Technologies Ltd.
Anobit, based in Herzelia, Israel, said it ''is a fabless semiconductor start-up company developing enabling technologies for the large and growing flash memory market.''
