EE Times honors 2010 ACE Award winners

SAN JOSE, Calif.—EE Times Tuesday (April 27) honored the winners of the sixth Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards at a reception here in conjunction with the Embedded Systems Conference.

The 2010 winners, by category, are:

Design Team of the Year: Intel Corp., Nehalem Family Design Team

Innovator of the Year: picoChip Designs Ltd., Doug Pulley, Chief Technical Officer

Executive of the Year: Microchip Technology Inc., Steve Sanghi, President and CEO

Startup of the Year Award: RFaxis Inc.

Company of the Year: ARM Holdings plc

Most Promising New Technology: Hewlett Packard Co.

Most Innovative Renewable Energy Award: National Semiconductor Corp.

Editors' Choice Award: PCBMotor

Educator of the Year: Bassam Matar, Engineering Faculty, Chandler-Gilbert Community College

Student of the Year: Kristie DAmbrosio, MIT

Lifetime Achievement Award: Pasquale Pistorio, Honorary Chairman, STMicroelectronics
