Mass Group debuts wafer reclaim software
CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- In an effort to reduce IC production costs, Mass Group Inc. here rolled out a software line for wafer reclaim and wet laboratory applications.

The FactoryServer software from Mass Group is a Web-based wafer reclaim management system for semiconductor equipment manufacturers, chip makers, and specialized wafer reclaim wet labs.

FactoryServer helps reduce production costs but maintain fab efficiency by providing objective data on asset utilization. The software provides real-time reporting on reclaimed wafer yield efficiency. It also has the ability to calculate cost per wafer reclaimed and the flexibility to provide costing data on several different pricing/yield scenarios.

The semiconductor module provides fully configured wafer reclaim functions, which meet stringent SEMI E-10 compliance standards for semiconductor manufacturing. FactoryServer's open architecture, web-based environment and standardized Microsoft SQL database provides a framework for integration with CMMS, SPC/SQC, ERP and MES solutions and enhanced operations management.
