PDF Solutions acquisitions target yield management
SAN MATEO, Calif. — Yield improvement services company PDF Solutions Inc. has purchased enterprise yield software vendor IDS Software Systems Inc. for roughly $50 million in cash and stock.
SAN MATEO, Calif. — Yield improvement services company PDF Solutions Inc. has purchased enterprise yield software vendor IDS Software Systems Inc. for roughly $50 million in cash and stock.
Separately, PDF Solutions has purchased the WAMA yield technology and associated business in an all-cash transaction from WaferYield Inc. The amount of the WAMA transaction was not announced.
In separate releases issued today after close of market, PDF said it is purchasing IDS to further enhance its yield management services business. It purchased the WAMA yield improvement technology from WaferYield to sell the tool to manufacturers, and also to enhance PDF's business engagements.
