San Diego, CA — An RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator), model ZRO2407A1LF, from Z-Communications operates in the S-band at 2400 to 2415 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 14 MHz/V.
The VCO is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 21 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It features typical second harmonic suppression of -18 dBc and comes in the company's standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 1.27- x 1.27- 0.56-cm (0.5- x 0.5- x 0.22-inches). It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements and is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
Typical applications include fixed wireless and digital radio applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
