SMC Networks, Senvid team up to make remote access easier

SMC Networks and Senvid have agreed to include a copy of Senvid's new MioNet virtual workplace software with each product in SMC's EZ-Stream, EZ Connect and Barricade networking product lines.

MioNet makes wireless remote access and file sharing easier and more secure. Data and applications stored on any computer running MioNet are securely accessible on any other computer running MioNet, regardless of physical location.

The software will be included with SMC's consumer products at no additional cost, and those users will be able to use the software free of charge for 30 days, after which they will be offered an introductory subscription purchase price of $39.95 per year or $6.95 per month.
