Omnivision licenses Slovenian IP cores

LONDON — Omnivision Technologies Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.), a fabless developer and vendor of CMOS image sensors, has licensed semiconductor intellectual property from Beyond Semiconductor (Ljubljana, Slovenia).
"OmniVision produces market leading products, and we are honored to be chosen as an IP provider" said Matjaz Breskvar, CEO of Beyond, in a statement.
The cores or technology licensed was not disclosed. Beyond offers a range of 32-bit RISC/DSP processors together with peripherals and operating systems and drivers.
