Dresden is like Silicon Valley: hungry talent & excellent education

The list of startup companies launched by the Vodafone Chair for Mobile Communications Systems at the Dresden Technical University, Germany, currently comprises seven companies; with one more on the way.

Another startup that emanated indirectly from the Vodafone chair is Blue Wonder Communications, launched in 2008 by former NXP Semiconductor Inc. employees in Dresden (formerly Systemonic). The independent design house focuses on mobile broadband systems.
