Tanner EDA, SoftMEMS support A/MS, MEMS design in India

PARIS Tanner EDA, a division of Tanner Research Inc. (Monrovia, Calif.), and SoftMEMS LLC (Los Gatos, Calif.) have sealed an agreement with Trident Techlabs Pvt. Ltd. to provide customers in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune with solutions for analog/mixed-signal and MEMS designs.
By partnering with Tanner EDA and its distributor in India, SoftMEMS said respective customers will have a single point of contact when "it is optimal to use our MEMS environment with Tanner EDA's A/MS and MEMS software."
In the meantime, Tanner EDA announced it has appointed Hamed Emami as vice president sales to help the company meet customers' needs in analog and mixed signal design application areas such as power management and image sensor design.
Previously, Emami was vice president sales at Magma Design Automation (San Jose, Calif.), at Axiom Design Automation (Milpitas, Calif.) and at Tera Systems (Campbell, Calif.).
