Hot, cold IC markets for '11

The projected negative turn-around for Gate Arrays is astounding to me. And something doesn't seem quite right... recent stuff I recall seeing (such as Xilinx with their "stacked silicon interconnect" for 3D solutions and Achronix fab arrangements with Intel) cause me to believe we'll be seeing some really good results from the likes of these folks in the future.
