TSMC's April sales declined from March

SAN FRANCISCO—Foundry giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (TSMC) said Tuesday (May 10) that its sales in April slipped 0.4 percent from March. April sales of NT$36.23 billion ($1.27 billion) were up 10.9 percent compared to April 2010, TSMC said.
TSMC's revenues for January through April totaled NT$138.78 billion ($4.86 billion), up 13.0 percent compared to the same period of 2010, TSMC said.
On a consolidated basis, including sales from U.S. subsidiary WaferTech LLC, TSMC reported April sales of NT$ 37.13 billion ($1.3 billion), down 0.5 percent from March and up 9.8 percent from April 2010, TSMC said. Consolidated tevenues for January through April totaled NT$142.5 billion, an increase of 13.1 percent compared to the same period in 2010, TSMC said.
