Robo-spider tracks you down
Matt Bunting, a University of Arizona PhD student, demonstrated his Hexapod face-tracking robot at IDF. The design got a groundswell of attention after Bunting was featured in an online video. It uses an off-the-shelf miniature computer based on Intel's Atom.

Maybe I am the last person that will wish for more competition in the industry. If Intel offers that, good news. I want smartphone prices to drop. Let it be.

True.. currently market is lead by Snapdragon / Teagra or OMAP processors. Having another giant into this market will definitely bring good competition and lowering of price and at the same time will force quality too.

@RickMerrit: the x86 tablet, was it powered up? It looks dark and shutdown in the pic! I just want to know if it is a working proto!
Overall, thanks for the story & pics, I wish I was there to see all of these, must have been very interesting!
