Hot parties at CES 2012

At the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the bustling tradeshow floor is only half the fun (actually, probably a lot less than that). As any experienced CES vet can tell you, the real action starts when the convention center doors are locked and the parties begin.
We've cobbled together a list of some of the most intriguing-sounding parties on the slate for CES week (special thanks to Karen Thomas of Thomas Public Relations, who sent around a very comprehensive index).
So fill in your Outlook calendars. After a long day of manning the company booth, you'll want to let your hair down and unwind with the likes of Snooki from MTV's Jersey Shore, rapper 50 Cent, cookbook author Allison Fishman or some of the other A-listers that will be calling CES home for the week (or at least a few hours). Don't forget, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas—unless of course it happens in the proximity of someone holding a smartphone with HD video capability streaming live to YouTube.

I have bought myself some fake tan lotion in a pathetic attempt to venerate snooki :) I'm short too... maybe people will confuse me for her and invite me to the really cool parties! (Kidding... EE Times journos don't have time for cool parties... we work too hard!!)
