Cool experiments

The folks at the Michigan Tech exhibit were the only ones "blowing smoke" during the tech fest. Here, the unusual properties of liquid nitrogen were on display in the form of quick-frozen crackers.

Shuttle astronaut Leland Melvin is shown giving a "high five" to a future astronaut. When Melvin asked kids what they wanted to do, one said, "I'm going to be an astronaut." Replied Melvin: "Gimme some!"

The kids at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory booth seemed to enjoy being run over by robots.
Next: Big crowds

It was an amazing show, and these are such cool photos, George!
Wish my parents had taken me to shows like this when I was a kid... it was truly mind blowing!
