Price is a key element to most consumer electronics. I am sure Intel can cut the price to an attractive point. The question whether they will do it and whether it will bring enough customers to have impact to the market. One factor that Intel has to pay attention to is the consolidation of platform. Product vendors are looking for ways to reduce number of products. A STB and a smartphone vendors will be more interested in using a low power MCU with a reasonable price.
