Senior scientist Emre Yaksi is one of several researchers in a new Imec neural lab studying how the brains of zebra fish processes sensory information such as smell and taste. Young zebra fish (below) have transparent flesh, enabling researchers to directly observe their brains, making them an ideal tool for lab studies.
