UBM symposium tackles marketing to engineers

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--UBM Electronics will host an all-day series of panels and tutorials on "Marketing to Engineers" as part of this year's Online Marketing Summit, Oct. 22-25, here.
UBM Electronics CEO Kathy Astromoff and other UBM Electronics executives will be joined by EE Times editors Brian Fuller, Rick Merritt and Sylvie Barak, all of whom will participate in a series of six sessions including:
- The State of Online
- The Mind of Geeks & Nerds… What Marketers Need to Know
- New World Marketing to Engineers: Key Practices
- Putting Social to Work: Unleash the Power for Your Business
- Building & Sustaining Thriving Communities
- Creating & Leveraging Epic Content for Marketing
"Building on our commitment to make the electronics ecosystem smarter and faster, we've created our symposium to inform marketers within the electronics and design engineering industries about key industry trends," Astromoff said. "The 'Marketing to Engineers Symposium' will highlight how to reach engineers and raise brand awareness, drive revenue, and create loyalty. In addition, we'll explore digital marketing, content and community development, social media research and much more."
"Marketing to Engineers" is part of the four-day Online Marketing Summit that features scores of speakers and panelists, including keynoters IBM Smarter Commerce Global Program Leader Carolyn Layne and Jana CEO Nathan Eagle.
