The app takes our 40th anniversary special section into the tablet world. The app enables you to dive deeper into the achievements of a group of Visionaries and Innovators that make a difference in our electronics world.

Our app is part of Apple's Newsstand, a one-stop shop for every iPad user's reading materials, so this EE Times 40th celebration of achievements will always be at your virtual fingertips.

There are several ways to get at the EE Times 40th anniversary App.

You can go directly to the App Store link.

If you're in iTunes or the App Store, search for "EE Times 40th Anniversary."

There's one additional step you may have to take if you've been using an iPad with an older operating system. You can still get and run the app. However, to make it appear in Apple's Newsstand, you'll need to have the current OS.

It is a two-step process. Before updating the OS, update iTunes, because only the latest iTunes supports the latest OS. Engineers get it. If you have trouble performing the update, ask anyone at home under 16 for help.

This APP is just the beginning. We'll be iterating, adding more content and features such as access to social networks.
