Texas Instruments said this week it will donate $1 million to educational programs in Santa Clara, Maine, Scotland and Malaysia for science, technology, engineering and math, known collectively as STEM, over the next three years.

Nice! My kids go to a STEM school, hopefully this will continue and STEM schools will become more popular.

This is good news. I think STEM is very important for progress of any society and the US is realizing this. TI is a big company and they are conscious of not only being a for profit business but for doing this place a better world.
