Nokia’s earnings may be hurting as it works to build up its partnership with Microsoft, but Jorma Ollila, the company’s chairman, believes everything will work out in the long term.

In fact, he not only thinks that Nokia will survive, he told YLE, the Finnish national broadcaster, that Nokia phones running Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 software will eventually put the company among the top three players in the smartphone market.

Well, as a new Nokia employee, this is something to work for! If we can pull that off, investing in Nokia now may not be a bad financial strategy! :-)
