Defense contractors BAE Systems PLC and European Aeronautic, Defence & Space Co. said Wednesday they are in discussions regarding a possible combination of their businesses.
The combination would be implemented through the creation of a dual-listed company structure. BAE shareholders would own 40% and EADS shareholders the remainder.
