Apple hired Jim Mergard, a 16-year veteran of AMD, who was a vice president and chief engineer there before he left for Samsung last year.

Wonder what that means to Samsungs ARM server project - apparently that is the team that hired many senior AMD engineers. Or maybe it is just a personal decision.
Apple lost one Jim (Keller) and gained another (Mergard). The law of conservation of Jims in Apple is intact.
