Why shouldn't investors have a say in the executive pay levels? Isn't that part of the package of stock ownership, after all you have skin in the game and it would be nice for you to have a say. The other side of this could be that the average stock holder doesn't know enough about the company and the execs to make informed decisions about pay. One way to settle this without wasting money in court would be for those investors unhappy with the pay scales or lack of disclosure to sell their stock. If enough did that then possibly Apple would have to do something.
