China slams cyberattack accusations over lack of proof

If they didn't refute it I would be very surprised indeed! While I do not pretend to have any inside information, it seems a little bizarre for the US to falsely accuse them. What possible upside could come of this if it was made up? I am sure that most countries are trying to get access to and possibly be in a position to take over or neutralize other countries networks / computers both in the military and business arenas. How hard is it to believe that we are also not doing the same? It just points out the need for security and precautions for any critical systems.
