Several vendors participating in ESC Boston have given us some quick peeks at what they'll be highlighting and debuting at this year's gathering in the Hub.
Melexis will be talking about its MLX90807/8 MEMs integrated pressure sensor IC and time-of-flight cameras for collision avoidance.
LDRA, source code analysis and test tool provider, has boosted the automation, efficiency, and customization of certification processes with the latest version of its LDRA tool suite. While maintaining legacy tools and features, LDRA has unified its tools with a common user interface, central repositories and performance optimizations to offer improved lifecycle traceability. These improvements are aimed at cutting the time and cost of certification. The consistent user interface and central reporting repositories are keys to simpler tool suite integration and organization. (LDRA is also announcing integration of its tool suite with MathWorks Simulink modeling tools.)
And finally in the run-up to ESC, MathWorks has something up its sleeve and Microchip is teasing attendees about an announcement on new 8-bit microcontrollers "with some interesting new peripherals.”
