Mini SSR targets low-voltage, high-current switching apps

A miniature 30-V 1-Form-A solid-state relay from Clare, Inc. uses optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 1500-Vrms of input-to-output isolation. The 4-pin-SOP-packaged CPC1020N specifically targets security systems and other low-voltage, high-current switching applications.

The SSR features 1.2 Arms of current handling in combination with 0.25 Ω of maximum on-resistance, and can be driven directly from any control IC. In addition, the device meets the following approvals: UL Recognized Component File # E76270, EN/IEC 60950-1, and CSA Certified Component: Certificate # 1172007.

The CPC1020N is available now with a lead time of 4 weeks. Pricing is $1.04 in OEM quantities of 25KU.
