DC/DC uModules deliver precision regulation in demanding environments

Linear Technology has introduced a family of encapsulated 36-V-input switching DC/DC regulator systems tested for extreme temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C. The LTM8020MPV (200 mA), LTM8022MPV (1 A) and LTM8023MPV (2 A) rugged DC/DC uModules are designed to deliver precision regulation in demanding environments found with applications such as military, avionics, heavy industrial machines, and harsh environment sensors.
The devices are enclosed in a plastic mold surface-mount land grid array package protecting the circuit components against moisture, chemicals, gas, and scratches. Package dimensions are 6.25 x 6.25 x 2.3 mm (LTM8020) and 9 x 11.25 x 2.8 mm (LTM8022 and LTM8023).
Pricing for the LTM8020MPV, LTM8022MPV and LTM8023MPV starts at $10.14, $14.23, and $16.28 each per 1,000, respectively.
