According to CEL, the µPG2251T6M PA eliminates the need for RF component matching, which reduces component count, saves bill of materials (BOM) cost, and simplifies procurement.
The µPG2251T6M PA is intended for applications such as Bluetooth modules that are designed into notebooks, mobile phones, and headsets as well as 802.15.4/ZigBee modules which have wide applicability in automatic meter reading, wireless security, cable replacement, and intelligent lighting control systems.
At 2 x 2 mm, the µPG2251T6M is one of the smallest power amplifiers in the industry, enabling product designs where printed circuit board (PCB) space is scarce such as smart phones, digital cameras, hand-held gaming devices, and other consumer electronics.
Values are typical at 2.45 GHz, Pin = -5dBm. It is housed in a 12-pin TQFN, measuring 2.0 mm x 2.0 mm x 0.37 mm. Frequency range is 2.4 to 2.5 GHz.
Pricing: $0.82 in quantities of 100,000.
