The POCKET-CARD enclosures from TEKO are similar in size to a credit card, but deep enough to accept a PCB populated with surface-mount components.

These enclosures have been designed for small mobile devices such as remote controls, medical devices, exposure level monitors, and identity or security electronics.

POCKET-CARD enclosures are molded in off-white or black ABS (UL 94 HB). The external dimensions are 3.34” x 2.12” x 0.39”, and the recommended PCB size is 3.13” x 1.95”. The

top molding is recessed for fitting a membrane keypad or product label. The enclosures are assembled by a single self-tapping screw, but can also be glued together to avoid tampering using the four internal pillars provided.

There are eight individual models available. Options include a pre-molded slot for a keypad ribbon cable and an aperture in one end for fitting an infra-red LED. Prices start at $5.

TEKO can supply the POCKET-CARD enclosures fully customized with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and controls, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be molded in alternative colors.
