1U network appliance has Intel Cedarview D2550/N2600 Processors

The PL-80700 from WIN Enterprises, Inc., is a 1U rackmount hardware platform designed for network service applications. Built with Intel Embedded IA components that provide OEMs with long market life, the device supports Intel Atom D2550, N2600 low-voltage processors (code named Cedarview) and the ICH10R I/O controller.

The platform supports a high bandwidth DDR3 SODIMM slot with memory to 4GB. To provide optimum network performance the storage interfaces include one 3.5”/2.5” SATA HDD and CompactFlash. An optional onboard Cavium Nitrox Lite CN505 is offered to provide hardware-level cryptographic acceleration. This separate security chip leaves more CPU computing power for higher-layer packet processing and other work by the main processor.

PL-80700 offers six GbE copper LANs with bypass function available from the front-panel. The front panel also has two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ-45 console port, and LED indicators for monitoring power and storage activities. PL-80700 supports one mini-card socket. The appliance is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.
