IAR Systems has launched a new 32-bit KickStart Kit for STMicroelectronics’ STM32F407ZG, a microcontroller (MCU) in ST's STN32 F4 series, the first ARM Cortex-M4 based MCUs. The IAR KickStart Kit includes an evaluation board featuring an STM32F407ZG MCU, an IAR J-Link Lite debug probe for ST’s Cortex-M devices providing JTAG and SWD connections to the board, and a CD with software tools, example projects, and board support packages for different RTOSes.

The STM32 F4 series is reputed to be the highest-performance ARM Cortex-M processor-based MCU range in the market, a series designed to be optimal for low-power applications. IAR Embedded Workbench is designed for energy saving systems, which makes it well-suited for the low-power STM32 F4 family.

IAR KickStart Kit for STM32F407ZG is in stock and available in IAR Systems e-shop priced at EUR 209/USD 289. The part number is KSK-STM32F407ZG-JL.
