FPGA market report gives new insights into the sector

This is a happy day, because the folks at High Tech Marketing in the UK have announced the availability of an updated version of their report on the FPGA market.
As an aside, for the last few years I have had my own personal copy of this report (with grateful thanks to the folks at High Tech Marketing), and I have to say that I find it invaluable for its insights and reference material.
Targeted at customers needing to understand the market, competitive pressures, and pricing strategies, this report covers products strategies and competition within the sector. These include engineering and procurement management in companies using FPGAs or potential investors.
The report profiles every vendor, their strategies, and provides an overview of their leading products and application areas.
A unique section uncovers the pricing strategies of the leading FPGA companies. Following this, a further section illustrates with examples how FPGA customers can minimize their costs. Accepting that not every customer will be able to reduce their costs, the report shows that in many cases 30% or more can be saved.
A separate comparison chart is also available. It lists major features of every FPGA type available. A customer planning a new design can identify in seconds all the potential products from every vendor. Users can filter requirements such as logic capacity, memory, I/O and transceivers to create a short-list of potential devices. This comparison chart saves users the need to search through every vendor datasheet.
