ST's TS 881 comparator operates at 1.1 volt

STMicroelectronics has introduced the TS881 comparator compatible with supply voltages as low as 1.1V over a wide temperature range.
The TS881 is suitable for front-end detection and measurement circuitry according to the company.
The part has an operating current of 210nA (typical at 25°C), and draws less than half the current of competing devices, according to ST.
Major features of TS881 include a typical propagation delay of 2µs over a temperature range of - 40°C to + 125°C and an operating voltage range of 1.1V to 5V (1.1V operation guaranteed over full temperature range).
The family extends the company’s portfolio of comparators, which includes the TS3011.
