PARIS – iWatt Inc announced it has introduced a digital AC/DC LED driver platform, and the first device is a two-stage, Flickerless LED driver with output power up to 45W.

The company (Campbell, Calif.) claims the iW3630 has a built-in 0V to 10V dimming interface for commercial lighting ballasts and supports a PWM digital dimming interface for wireless SSL applications.

iWatt said the iW3630 SSL LED driver is the first in a platform designed to address cost, performance and operating life in 0V to 10V commercial lighting systems. It is a two-stage, Flickerless LED driver with output power up to 45W and an integrated design that is claimed to enable a 30-percent to 40-percent savings in BOM cost compared to competitive solutions in 0V to 10V applications.
