Radiocrafts claims world's smallest KNX-RF module

Radiocrafts AS has released model RC1180-KNX1, a new module complying with the KNX-RF (Konnex over RF) specification. KNX is the only open international standard for home and building control, used in smart home, building automation and building management systems. The module features an embedded protocol that supports KNX-RF 1.1 and KNX Ready, and it can be used for unidirectional and bidirectional devices, as well as battery operated systems. It conforms to EN 50090 (ISO/IEC 14543-3).

  • Operates in 868MHz band
  • Uses 'Listen Before Talk' (LBT) to reduce collisions
  • One receiver links to up to 64 transmitters
  • Automatic battery supervision with signal strenght information
