Cree, Inc. has introduced packaged diodes that deliver what the manufacturer claims is the industry’s highest blocking voltage available in silicon carbide (SiC) Schottky technology.  The 1700V Z-Rec® Schottky diodes eliminate the reverse recovery losses suffered in silicon PiN diode alternatives for efficient, compact, light, and reliable systems.  Designated the C3Dxx170H Series, the  SiC Schottky diodes are rated for 10A/1700V and 25A/1700V. They are available in standard TO-247-2 packages. Operating junction temperature is rated for -55°C to +175°C.

Without listing the forward voltage I have no idea how good the product is, and clicking the "Product web page" just opens an identical page.

Is this some sort of click fraud scam, or just incompetence?
