Tool eases test data management

PRODUCTRONICA, Munich - Virinco launched its WATS system in the German market at the exhibition. The tool is for use in a global supply chain, R&D, production, test, quality and service and has  customers in the industrial, tele- and datacom, energy, offshore, defense, aerospace, science industries.

WATS (Wide Area Traceability System) is an operational tool designed to increase productivity and profitability through concepts of continuous improvement, increased quality, full transparency in supply chain, full control and traceability of all units and products in production, as well as reduced inefficiencies and minimizing risk for market claims/market recall.

The WATS scalable solution is being used in 14 countries on four continents. It provides control and traceability throughout the entire supply chain which can be integrated to other business critical systems  such as ERP, MES, PLM, and BI,complete data and information flow.

It integrates with NI TestStand and other test applications to automate test data management and makes yield, CPK, general SPC and test & production data accessible through a web browser.  WATS also manages workflow (enforced routing), software/firmware distribution, product configuration and manual inspections.
