Rigol Technologies, Inc. offers the DS4000 series digital oscilloscope, a general purpose test instrument for multiple applications. Available in 8 different models, the DS4000 series features bandwidths between 100MHz and 500MHz and sample rates up to 4GSa/s and 2 or 4 analog channels. According to the manufacturer, the series digital oscilloscope’s technologies and processes make detecting signal and device characteristics easier, identifying system glitches with 140 million points of memory depth and 110,000 waveforms per second acquisition rate. In addition, the DS4000 series can search and navigate within up to 200,000 triggered waveforms with mask tests.

DS4000 digital oscilloscopes incorporate Rigol's UltraVision technology and a 9 inch WVGA display to offer an intensity grading display and real-time waveform recording and waveform visualization and replay, with customizable real-time hardware filters available.

Pricing for the DS4000 series oscilloscopes begins at $1999, dependent upon configurations and quantity.

I can't veryfy the truth of this, but a local distributor told me that Agilent's low-end scopes are in fact rebadged OEM Rigol models. You can definitely see the similarity in the front panel controls. Can anyone confirm this?

I have read that several places, mostly from not so reliable forums.

This is the most significant I have found.

"Agilent firmware for the DSO1014A has "Rigol Technologies" in the code" http://mightyohm.com/blog/2009/11/agilent-dso1000-firmware-update-confirms-rigol-connection/

I just purchased a Rigol DSO for myself for Christmas I was so impressed, I immediately bought one of their Arbitrary waveform generators also.
