At the Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart, Germany today, National Instruments announced DIAdem 2012, the latest version of a software tool that helps engineers interpret and share data, and to arrive at decisions faster. The analysis and reporting of time-based measurement data is the challenge that the latest version addresses, meeting the specific demands of testing environments that require quick access to large volumes of scattered data, consistent reporting, and data visualization.
Optimized to operate on large data sets, it includes engineering-specific analysis functions, uses a drag-and-drop report editor, and runs scripts for automating repetitive tasks.
Features include:
- Object-oriented VBScript API reduces programming time and effort
- Performance improvements
- Ability to check for updates
- Updated DAC dialog boxes
- Added support for LIN and FlexRay databases
- Scalable background images for 2D charts
